Amy Kidd Bio

Acting (guest teacher & cover) 

Amy Kidd is an actor, playwright and director who trained at The Lir Academy, Dublin (BA

Hons, Acting). She is a founding member of the emerging company Anseo Anois Theatre.

Recent acting credits include: Sylvia in The Pride, Aisling in Paler, Still, Sarah Curren in A

Beauty That Will Pass, Jess in Love and Money, Mary Shelley in The Last and Bad Beat

(Short Film). Last year, she assisted Conall Morrison on his direction of Janet Moran’s

Quake and this year Amy’s debut play Breaking was produced by Fishamble for the Dublin

Theatre Festival, directed by Jim Culleton. She is currently writing her next play, with the

support of Arts Council Ireland, The Abbey, Irish Theatre Institute and Fringe Lab.
